The Seattle Stars Baseball Club is an organization of youth baseball teams, ages 12–18, that strives to develop quality young men and baseball players, who will compete successfully at the high school level and beyond.

Club elects officers

An election was held for the Stars Board of Directors in July. Elected Board members for the 2010–2011 season include the following individuals: Rob Brown, General Manager; Guy Keller, Coaching and Player Development; Tom Black, Treasurer; and John Pribble, Secretary. The Board members commenced their terms on August 1, 2010 and will serve the organization in their elected roles through July 31, 2011.

The Seattle Stars will hold an additional tryout for all age groups on September 2nd at Mariner HS from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

Stars tryouts for 12U to 18U teams are beginning on Saturday, July 17 and going through the month of August. Go to the Tryouts Page to see the dates, times, and locations.
Stars to Field Two 18U Teams and Two 16U Teams in 2011

For the 2011 season, the Stars are planning to field two 18U teams and two 16U teams.
Players will be placed on teams based on what is best for the player. Guy Keller will be the head coach for one of the 18U teams, the other 18U head coach is DJ Lidyard. Tyler Johnson will be the head coach for one of the 16U teams, the other 16U head coach is Jake Wheeler.
The Stars are also planning to have a 12U team for the 2011 season — this team will have league games and play in tournaments — and then travel to Cooperstown and compete in a National tournament in August 2011.
As usual, the Stars are also planning to have at least one 13U, 14U, and 15U team for the 2011 season.
